If the single-rider line is part of your Expedition Everest plan, it's time to make a little more room in your park day. Single Rider is set to end on September 21, 2026, at Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. That makes September 20 the final day for the option, subject to availability.
The change concerns the separate queue. You can still plan to ride Everest using standby or an available Lightning Lane selection.
Check what Multi Pass would add to your day
Everest is on Disney's Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction list. This paid option lets you choose available rides and arrival windows, including an Everest selection when one is available.
If you're already buying Multi Pass for Animal Kingdom, Everest is worth considering among your choices. If you're keeping extra spending down, we'd start with standby. Before buying a pass just for this change, compare the price with the rides and times available for your whole day.
One detail matters for repeat riders: a pass allows one Lightning Lane entry per attraction, per day. It won't give you unlimited turns on Everest.
Before your visit, check Disney's Expedition Everest listing and your My Disney Experience app, then leave enough space between the ride and your next fixed plan.
