Account deletion
Delete your PlanTheMagic account
PlanTheMagic users can request account deletion through the form on this page. We will use the request to close the account, remove or anonymize planner data, and confirm what records may need to be retained.
Steps to request deletion
- 1 Use the form on this page.
- 2 Use the email address on the PlanTheMagic account.
- 3 Choose Account deletion and data.
- 4 Cancel any active paid subscription first, or ask support for help if you cannot access billing.
- 5 Confirm any identity or account checks sent by support.
Data deleted or anonymized
- Account profile and sign-in details, including sessions, password reset records, mobile access tokens, and PlanTheMagic Stripe customer or payment-method references.
- Planner trips and planner items, including day plans, meals, notes, reservation tasks, activity items, and mobile app sync history.
- Favorite restaurants, notification delivery history, Must Eats AI usage, feedback submissions, email delivery logs, and announcement dismissals.
Data we may keep
- Account closure evidence and hashed or masked account identifiers.
- Support history and admin audit history.
- Billing, payment, tax, dispute, fraud-prevention, and security records, including Stripe redaction status.
- Referral, reward, creator partner, and payout records where they apply.
Retained records are kept for up to six years from account closure unless a longer period is required for legal, tax, accounting, payment, dispute, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.
